Concepts in Animal Welfare: 15. Environmental enrichment

This module covers the principles of environmental enrichment and how this approach was developed in response to observing the stress experienced by animals in captivity. The benefits and limitations of enriching the environment of captive animals is considered and the provision of effective environmental enrichment in different groups of confined animal species is explored.
