Concepts in Animal Welfare: 18. Welfare of working animals

This module covers how to identify what species of animals are used for working and the tasks which they undertake. It examines why they have welfare problems, how to identify them, and the short- and long- term improvements and alternatives that can be put in place. The benefits of improved working animal welfare to the owner and the animal will also be explored.
