Executive Director, Wild Welfare
Georgina Allen has over 15 years’ experience working for international animal welfare, research and conservation organisations. With a degree in zoology and masters in wild animal biology, her passion is to improve the welfare for thousands of captive wild animals held in poor zoos and aquariums around the world. She has extensive experience in global animal welfare campaigning and captive welfare training and strategy development.
Georgina helped found Wild Welfare and her current role as Executive Director allows her to work with both the global zoo and aquarium community and international animal welfare NGO's; providing both immediate and long term solutions to captive wild animal welfare.
